At Progressive Planner Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and dignified environment where they can learn, grow, and realize their full potential. Our Child Protection initiatives are designed to create communities where children are protected from abuse, exploitation, neglect, trafficking, child labour, child marriage, violence, and all forms of discrimination.

Working across Kolkata and different districts of West Bengal, we collaborate with schools, families, community leaders, local administrations, child welfare institutions, and civil society organizations to strengthen child protection systems at the grassroots level. Our interventions focus not only on responding to child protection concerns but also on preventing risks through awareness, education, community participation, and institutional capacity building.

We conduct extensive awareness campaigns on child rights, personal safety, online safety, gender sensitivity, bullying prevention, and protection against sexual abuse. Through interactive workshops, community meetings, school engagement programmes, street plays, and youth-led campaigns, we empower children to recognize unsafe situations and seek timely help.

Our Foundation supports the implementation of child-friendly policies and safeguarding mechanisms in educational institutions and community-based organizations. We facilitate orientation programmes for teachers, caregivers, volunteers, and parents to help them identify vulnerable situations and respond responsibly while ensuring children's rights remain protected.

Special attention is given to children belonging to marginalized communities, economically weaker families, migrant populations, and vulnerable social groups. We strive to improve access to education, nutrition, healthcare, counselling, legal assistance, and rehabilitation services through strategic partnerships with government departments and development organizations.

Our child-centric programmes also encourage leadership, confidence building, life skills, emotional well-being, and participation in community development activities. By nurturing responsible citizens from an early age, Progressive Planner Foundation contributes towards building a safer, more inclusive, and child-friendly West Bengal where every child can thrive without fear.
